CHURCH LIFE ADMINISTRATOR

Church Life Administrator Position

Position Overview: As the Church Life Administrator at House of Prayer Lutheran Church, you will play a vital role in enhancing our congregation’s educational opportunities and experiences. This full-time position (40 hours per week) involves assisting the Lead Pastor and Minister of Discipleship by overseeing ongoing ministries and ensuring their effectiveness. Additionally, you will supervise Children and Youth Ministry staff and coordinate volunteer opportunities within the church and the broader community. Please note that this position requires evening and weekend availability due to the nature of the work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and enhance educational ministry experiences for House of Prayer members.
  • Supervise Children and Youth Ministry staff.
  • Coordinate and oversee volunteer opportunities within the church and community.
  • Assist with the effectiveness of ongoing ministries.

Qualifications:

  • A committed Christian with a heart for ministry.
  • Well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, manage time effectively, and lead by example.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in developing and coordinating programs or projects, including supervising professional level staff.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
